Letting Go of Grief After Pet Loss DOESN’T Mean Letting Go of Love
Have you ever grieved the loss of your pet for so long that you forgot what it's like to feel happy again, or to feel light, to smile, to feel anything but that awful ache in your chest? You know, maybe grief erases our happiness for a while, and maybe for a long while for some of us. But you know what it can't erase what it does not have the power to touch your love. True love survives losses, grief, even death. Today, I want to talk about something tender but powerful, how to let go of grief after pet loss without ever letting go of the love, because you don't have to choose. You don't have to hold on to the pain just to prove how much they meant to you. And letting go of grief doesn't mean forgetting, replacing or moving on. It means finding a way to breathe again with them still in your heart.
